Father Eamonn Self-Isolating until December 22nd

Good evening everyone,

I received a call from NHS Test and Trace instructing me to self-isolate until December 22nd because I was in contact with someone who tested positive for Covid-19. Sadly, I have to cancel all Masses and the use of the Church until then and I realize what an inconvenience this will be to so many. It will not be possible for me to go out or even to answer the door.

When I was writing the current Parish Notices, something in me said I should write these plans are subject to change. Little did I realize they would change so rapidly!

United with and praying for all who are isolating and especially with those who are suffering with the virus and again thinking about the frontline workers who are spending themselves in the effort to bring about healing.

Sending you Lots of Love,

Father Eamonn

  1. Thank you Father for the update, please stay safe and I hope its nothing more than just isolation.

  3. Thank you for letting us know, we too recently had to self isolate for 2 weeks, due to being in contact with a family member who tested positive for COVID, she is a nurse and did not get it too bad, she is now back at work, thankfully we didn’t get any symptoms, keeping you in our prayers, stay safe.
Best wishes Sue and Kevin Swaffer
